Test Specialist

- Drive test development, planning, execution, reporting and closure
- Develop the detailed test plan and strategies and lead test execution activities
- Collaborate with the subject matter experts to determine the test scenarios and provide guidance to the creation of test scripts
- Provide training to the test execution team on the test process, including changes and enhancements to test plans and scripts, to help ensure robust end to end test procedures are in place
- Identify roadblock that can impact the quality of tests and propose resolution
- Ensure that the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the test plan
- Review test and validation results to ensure that they meet the entry and exit criteria
- Facilitate daily defect status calls

- Minimum 3+ years of experience with leading the testing effort for projects of moderate to high complexity
- Results driven individual with strong understanding of testing methodology and best practices
- Experience working with people in geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work with project team, stakeholders and vendors
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a timely and organized manner
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with testing payroll applications preferred
