Job Description:

Note: Need someone who comes from Java or JavaScript coding experience 

Job requires experienced, self-motivated Tester with 5 years of strong system and regression test experience. In this role tester will be responsible for working with the Software Test Engineering Leads, Test Engineering team and Biomedical project team members. The tester will develop test plans, test cases and procedures as well as test and validate changes to the Biomedical IT software. Tester will help establish a regression test framework which will be used to incorporate existing regress ion test procedures as well as all new regression tests required for the defined project. Tester will assess requirements for testability and participate in risk assessment meetings in order to assist in the development of risk mitigations. Tester will utilize the risk mitigations to determine the appropriate test and regression strategy to validate software and configuration changes.

The ideal candidate will have experience testing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products and has been involved throughout the entire life cycle of high complexity projects including, but not limited to: risk assessment and configuration and software change impact analysis, requirements development, testing, and implementation following a formal software development lifecycle and adhering to standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

·        Must have minimum 8 years of experience.

·        Requires 5 years of testing experience with a Bachelors in Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience

·        Requires experience with testing web-based applications, client-server applications, and highly configurable COTs products

·        Requires experience developing regression test suites and automated test scripts using Selenium and UFT.

·        Requires experience in developing, executing and maintaining tests in DevOps and Microfocus ALM.

·        Requires experience in developing risk-based test strategies

·        Requires experience in the development of high-quality test documentation such as Test Plans, Test cases and procedures, RTMs, and Test Analysis Reports

·        Experience testing in a formal and or regulated environment using structured methodologies.
