Senior Software Engineer - Java & AWS

Location: Remote 

Duration: 6 months plus (possible extn or hire) 

Rate:  $60-$63/hr on W2

Client: Resmed   

Candidate must be on Infolob W2

Job Overview:The candidate will be in charge of taking a large monolithic application and refactoring it into a cloud application. They will work with the dev team and Product manager in their day to day to accomplish this goal. They'll build out parts of the app, pare it down, and repeat. The candidate will implement features and be responsible for maintenance while taking feedback from users in the field.

Ideal Candidate Characteristics:

• Senior level candidate that is confident in their own abilities


• Driven to implement and refactor the codebase


• Ability to mentor more junior devs via video conf, phone calls, email, etc.


• Excellent communication skills (demo the product at weekly architecture meetings to Directors and VPs)

Ideal Candidate Background:

• Full-stack java engineers with native cloud Infra as Code/AWS exp


• Former experience as a Systems Architect, Developer, and/or DevOps


• Real world application of AWS knowledge


• Associate and/or Professional level AWS certifications are a huge plus
