Lead Software Developers
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Software Developer to spearhead our software development initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative software solutions. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex software systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance on technical solutions, coding standards, and development methodologies.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.
- Drive technical discussions and make informed decisions on architecture, design, and implementation approaches.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and consistency.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on our development efforts.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on technical matters, both internally and externally.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong track record of leading successful projects.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices architecture is highly desirable.
Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods.
