Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Software Developer to spearhead our software development initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative software solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the direction of our technology stack, mentor junior team members, and drive technical excellence in a collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead the design and development of complex software systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.

  • Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance on technical solutions, coding standards, and development methodologies.

  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.

  • Drive technical discussions and make informed decisions on architecture, design, and implementation approaches.

  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and consistency.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on our development efforts.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and practices.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on technical matters, both internally and externally.

Required Qualifications :



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong track record of leading successful projects.

  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.

  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices architecture is highly desirable.


Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods.
