Location: 100% Remote (as per PST Hours; Seattle, WA, Local preferred)

Years of Experience:

  • 2+ years


Required Background/ skills:

  • Has worked fairly extensively in SharePoint 2013 (we would be thrilled, but not required)/ SharePoint Online

    • More of an aside: The project we’re working on will involve both a very old, broken platform and a new one that is not fully built out yet. So, flexibility in CMS and dealing with COPIOUS ambiguity would be very helpful

  • Past content migration experience

  • Very detail-oriented, can follow a style guide, copy editing experience   

  • Some project management experience, specifically in wrangling SMEs 

  • Proactive about identifying problems and posing solutions

  • Publishing and managing content in SharePoint Online

  • Content migration experience

  • Project management experience

  • Ability to follow a style guide

  • Experience with copyediting (this goes with the style guide piece and helps identify people who are detail oriented)

  • Experience with copywriting or technical writing (more of a nice to have, but also goes with the above bullets)

  • Basic image management skills (e.g., resizing a photo, etc. I consider these basic competencies, but might be worth calling out)


Technology requirements:

  • CMS

  • Sharepoint knowledge before it was webased

  • Microsoft suite


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Migrate and restructure content from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online

  • Own day-to-day content publishing, including governance and maintenance of 2+ sets of duplicative content during migration period


Key Projects:

  • Support our team with the migration process as it’s ongoing through the summer



  • Light French capabilities would be a bonus    

  • Knowledge or experience with French Canadian language (nice to have)

  • Publishing and managing content in SharePoint 2013 (nice to have)

  • Knowledge of digital accessibility standards (nice to have

  • Copy writing/ technical writing



  • This is not a first job for someone

  • If they don’t have SharePoint experience

  • If they are brand new to online platforms
