Job Description:
Analytics CoE team is looking for an AWS Cloud Container Management Specialist that will be playing a key role in helping on Analytics-Grid Lift and Shift to AWS Cloud and bring in key transformational changes to how we deploy Analytics Tools (Python, R, RStudio, etc) using cloud native architecture.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements presented by Product Owner and design sustainable solutions to advance container management (registry, orchestration & compute) for Analytics tools
- Manage, lead and drive discussions with Architecture, InfoSec teams and come up with technical architecture and design and help on container deployment strategies
- Participate and drive scoping and technical requirements gathering sessions with client stake holders
- Development and management of workloads involving containers
- Support containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes on AWS
- Drive automation using popular cloud orchestration, configuration management, and CI/CD systems
- Participate in production software deployments working closely with team members to ensure the proper transition of system changes into the production environments
- Develop & maintain technical documentation including system diagrams & operational procedures
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in AWS container orchestration systems (EKS, ECS, Openshift)
- 5+ years of production experience with Dockerizing application runtimes and hosting in the cloud
- 5+ years production experience with cloud orchestration tools like Cloud Formation or Terraform
- 5+ years of production experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines in systems like Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline
- 5+ years of production experience with full software development lifecycle in a team environment
- 3+ years of Python, R with a preference for Python
- 3+ years of production experience with core AWS services
