.NET/C# API Developer

Location: Remote EST hours 

Duration: 6 months 

Rate: W2 position. Depends on experience. Try to bring candidates at the least rate possible 

Authorized Visa: Need to be a GC or GC EAD or US Citizen - no other visa or ead considered

The .Net/C# API developer works with a team to develop APIs for our policyholder application integrations. They will help to support and enhance existing APIs developed using .Net and C# and develop new API integrations using .Net Core. The developer will work closely with IT architects and lead developers to integrate our user interfaces with back-end services and data.

·        Strong development skills (9+ years overall software development in .Net, C#) 5+ years of experience with RESTful API / Web Service development Experience with SQL Server (SQL Management Studio) Analyze, design, develop RESTful APIs using .Net/.Net Core/C# Consuming SOAP Services and RESTful APIs Experience with JSON Experience with Visual Studio, VS Code, TFS and GitHub Excellent listener and willingness to learn Excellent written and oral communication skills Must be able to work well in a fast-paced, team environment (work same hours as team members) BS Computer Science
